Roseline M. (Cinelli) Douglas, 92, of Quail Road, Portsmouth, RI, died Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at home with her family at her side.She was the wife of the late Philip H. Douglas.Born in Newport, RI on October 21, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Bambina (Pasquini) Cinelli.Mrs. Douglas was a loyal and dedicated employee of Raytheon for 26 years as an executive secretary before retiring in 1987. She was a communicant of St. Barnabas Church, a member of the Bella Donna's, the Portsmouth Garden Club, the "Knitting Club", and enjoyed working on her home and in her yard.She is survived by her children, Sandra A. Douglas of Texas, Margaret M. Douglas of Tiverton, RI, Gregory D. Douglas of Newport, RI, and Janice M. Douglas of Portsmouth, RI; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephewsShe was predeceased by her son, Stephen P. Douglas and eleven brothers and sisters, Nicholas, Paul, Daniel, Tony and Joseph Cinelli, Mary Larsen, Louise Caldwell, Lucille Powers, Angelina DeCotis, Ann Geary and Kathleen Jackson.A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 10 am in St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI. Burial will be private.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to VNS Hospice, 1184 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871.
