Ruth A. Rubican

Ruth A. Clark Rubican, 77, of 14 Pleasant Street, Newport, died Tuesday, August 3, 2004, at the Newport Hospital, Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late Roy Wilbert Rubican. Born in Franklin, PA, on December 11, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Mae Mann Clark. Mrs. Rubican had worked for the School of Nursing at Newport Hospital as a house mother, retiring in 1990. She was a member of the VFW Womens Auxillary. She is survived by two sons James Krepp of Columbus, OH, and Gerald McTyre of Goshen, MI, three daughters Cindy McTyre of Newport, RI, Cheryl Lightfoot of Harvey, LA, and Jennifer Jones of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, 21 Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late John McTyre. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2004, at 11:00AM, in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.
