Ruth D. Shepley

Ruth D. Shepley, 72 of Middletown passed away on Friday, April 24, 2009 in Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River.Born in Newport on November 13, 1936, she was the daughter of the late William I. and Gladys Peckham Shepley.Ruth was a dedicated nurse working for over forty years. She enjoyed cooking and gardening.She leaves her twin sister Anne L. Hatch and her husband John of The Woodlands, TX, she also leaves two brothers James M. Shepley and his wife Anne of Mattapoisett, MA and William I. Shepley and his wife Mary of Jamestown, RI. She was also the aunt of several nieces and nephews.A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 10:00am in Trinity Church, Queen Anne Square, Newport.Burial will be private.In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to The Share Foundation Inc., c/o U.
