S. John Loscocco

S. John Loscocco, 82, of 135 South Huntington Ave, Boston, MA, formerly of Portsmouth, RI, died Friday, May 18, 2007 at Sherrill House, Boston, MA. He was the husband of the late Lucy E. Duffy Loscocco. Born in Roxbury, MA on August 22, 1924, he was the son of the late Guisseppe and Antoinette Distasio Loscocco.Mr. Loscocco grew up in Boston and graduated from Boston College, then went on to receive his MBA from Harvard Business School. During WWII, he served in the US Navy as a Lieutenant. His professional career brought him many different opportunities, working as an executive in several different fields and many of his own business ventures. He is survived by a son John J. Loscocco of Natick, MA , and five daughters Lucy E. Loscocco of Port Townsend, WA, Anne Marie Loscocco of Buffalo, NY, Mary Patricia Loscocco of Boston, MA, Kathleen A. Loscocco of Oakland, CA, and Paula M. Loscocco of New York, NY, and two brothers Nicholas Loscocco of Stuart, FL, and Anthony Loscocco of Holliston, MA, as well as 12 grandchildren. His funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 22, at 9:00 am from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth.
