Portsmouth, RI - Sandra L. Feldman, There is a new angel among us, she just passed and will earn her wings. After 59 years of giving love and compassion to her family, friends and Co-workers, Sandy has received her reward and found the joys of heaven. Set free on Monday, June 26, 2006, at home surrounded by her family after a 4 year courageous battle with breast cancer. Residing at 69 Bradley Terrace, formerly of 665 Fish Road, Tiverton, RI. Sandy was born in Newport, RI, on November 10, 1946. Becoming Junior Miss Newport in 1961, graduating from Rogers High School in 1965, then marrying in 1969, she went to work for Sears Roebuck, where she was the automotive manager, retiring after 28 years. She went to Lorettas School of Cosmetology and received her hairdressing Liscence, she also worked as a manager at H R Block in Middletown, and at OEC in Fall River. Sandy was a volunteer at the Middletown Senior Center, a former member of the Womens Civic League and for the past 20 years Wednesday Night card club with the girls. Sandy loved to go to yard sales, shopping, making cheesecakes and entertaining for family and friends, especially on holidays. A fan of Tiger Woods, golf was watched regularly, yearly trips to Las Vegas were always looked forward to. Sandy is survived by her husband of 37 years, Gerald K. Feldman, her daughter Gina K. Feldman of Portsmouth, RI, her son Gerald K. Feldman Jr. and his wife Sherri of Portsmouth, RI, her sister Joanne Silvia and her husband Anthony of Portsmouth, RI, her brother Alfred Vieira and his wife Dianna of Middletown, RI, her close aunt Dorothy Vail of Portsmouth, her granddog Dakota and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Sandy was the daughter of the late Regina Hurley Vieira. Her services will be private. Donations in her name may be made to the Susan G.
