Sandra Lee Gomes

Newport, RI - Sandra L. Gomes, 59, of 13A Dr. Marcus Wheatland Boulevard, Newport, died Sunday, August 29, 2004 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI. Born in New Bedford, MA on March 23, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Edward E Woodlyn and Marie Gomes. Sandra worked at EGG Corp. of Middletown for 2 years. Prior to EGG she worked at Hughes Aircraft as an informational clerk for 10 years. She also worked at Raytheon as an informational clerk for 5 years. Ms. Gomes was baptized in Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. She is survived by her son Andre A. Gomes of Newport, RI, her sister Diane Williams of Newport, RI, and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2004, at 10:00AM, in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery in Newport.
