MIDDLETOWN, RI - Sarah Rego, 93, of Middletown, RI, formerly of 167 Bliss Road, Middletown, RI, died Thursday, October 13, 2005, at the Grand Islander Health Care Center, Green End Ave, Middletown, RI. Born in Middletown, RI, on March 8, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Victoria Cordeiro Rego.Ms. Rego was a private duty governess for all of her life for a family in Washington, DC and Newport.She is survived by several nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her siblings Manuel Rego, Ruy Rego, Mary Rego, Antoinette Silvia, and Angeline Cardoza.Her funeral will be held on Monday, October 17, 2005, at 8:00am from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00am in Jesus Saviour Church, Broadway And Vernon Avenue, Newport.Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown.
