Scott Burcz

Middletown, RI - Scott Burcz, 47, of Middletown, RI, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI. Born in Newport, RI on September 19, 1964, he was the son of Carol (Peckham) Burcz of Middletown, RI and the late Aloysius Burcz. Scott loved playing chess; he loved a challenge, and liked working in the yard. He owned his own landscaping business for ten years here on Aquidneck Island. Besides his mother, he is survived by his three brothers, Alan Burcz, Robert Burcz and Greg Burcz, his son Alex Burcz of Maine and his best friend of many years Rose. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grand parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Peckham and Elmer and Sofie Weaver.
