Sean Woods

Jackson, NJ ? Sean L. Woods, 66, of 37 Gables Way, Jackson, NJ, died of a massive stroke on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at the Medical Center in Jersey City, NJ. He was the husband of Joan M.Woods.Born in Newport, RI on May 5, 1940, he was the son of the late Harold T. and Claire Mason Woods. Sean attended local schools and graduated from De La Salle Academy in 1958. After high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served as a navigator. At the time of his death, he was the Executive Vice President of Information and Technology at Panache Resources Systems Corporation in Jersey City. He was a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. Husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many, he is also survived by his children, Claire and her husband Fred Guillee and Derek and his wife Jennie Woods, his step children, Jeffrey and his wife Dana Armstrong and Richard and his wife Michel Armstrong, his grandchildren, Samantha and Mason Guillee, Emily and Grant Brown, Kaitlin, Cole, and Madeline Armstrong, his sisters Sheila M. Woods of Jamestown, RI, and Claire W. Jackson of Millis, MA and his brother Harold T. Woods of East Greenwich, RI. His funeral will be held on Monday, October 30, 2006, at 10:00 am from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Mark Church, 60 Narragansett Avenue, Jamestown. Burial will be in St. Mark Cemetery in Jamestown.Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2006, from 4-8 pm in the funeral home.
