Newport, RI - Sharon M. Tobin DePalma, 60, of 33 Congdon Avenue, Newport, RI, died Friday, June 8, 2007 at Heatherwood Nursing and Subacute Center, Newport, RI. She was the wife of the late Vincent DePalma.Born in Newport, RI on April 7, 1947, she was the daughter of Marie Childs Tobin of Newport and the late Richard Francis.Besides her mother she is survived by her children Katherine Larson of Newport, RI, Diana Spears and her husband Timothy of Shelbyville, IN, and Nephi DePalma and his girlfriend Bethany Berard of Newport, RI, her brother Brian Tobin of Peoria, IL, her grandchildren, Shawn Larson, Emily and Timothy Spears and her nephew David Benson.She was the sister of the late Richard Tobin and Carol Benson. Her Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at 4:00pm in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 177 Miantonomi Avenue, Middletown, RI 02842.Calling hours are omitted.
