Sherry Ann Seitz

Sherry Ann Seitz, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, 65, of Newport, RI, died on March 22, 2025, in the Silver Creek Rehab and Healthcare Center. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Seitz for 42 years.

Born in Newport, RI, she was the daughter of the late John V. and Margaret (Chambers) Williams.

Sherry is survived by her children; Shyre Stevens, of Newport, Danny Stevens, of KY, Michelle Stevens, of Newport, Ashley Seitz, of Newport, her siblings; John Williams, of West Warwick, Nicholas (Crystal) Williams, of Shiloh, NC, Theodore Williams, of Tiverton, Claire Lester, of Port Richey, FL, Richard (Barbara) Williams, of Westport, MA, Lillian (Tom) Soares, of Warwick, Margaret (Mark) Coffey, of Highland Mills, NY. She additionally leaves 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sherry is preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Seitz, and her sister, Mary Cicero.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI. A Prayer Service will be held at 3:00 in the funeral home. 

Burial will be private.
