Simela Kyriakides

Simela Kyriakides, 43, of 410 Vanderbilt Lane Portsmouth, formerly of Walcott Ave Middletown, died Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at home surrounded by her family.She was the wife of Petros ?Peter? Kyriakides. Born in Kozani, Greece on February 10, 1961, she was the daughter of George and Kiriaki Hantsarides of Tarrytown, NY.Mrs. Kyriakides was a member of the St. Spyridons Greek Orthodox Church in Newport. She was a loving mother who enjoyed being with her family. She could often be found playing soccer in Middletown on Sundays with the Middletown Soccer League.She is survived by her husband Petros ?Peter? Kyriakides of Portsmouth, RI, her parents George and Kiriaki Hantsarides of Tarrytown, NY, a son Efstathios Kyriakides, RI, two daughters Parthena Kyriakides and Kiriaki Kyriakides all of Portsmouth, RI, three sisters Sophia Eftalitsdes of Tarrytown, NY, Freda Bateman of Sleepy Hollow, NY, and Eleni McClung also of Sleepy Hollow, NY.Her funeral will be held Monday, November 29, 2004, at 11:00am in St. Spyridons Greek Orthodox Church, 390 Thames Street, Newport.
