Sophie Helen Weaver

Middletown, RI - Sophie Helen Weaver, 88, of 41 Draper Avenue, Middletown, RI, formerly of 16 Carey Street, Newport, died Monday, April 7, 2008 at Silver Creek Manor, Bristol, RI. She was the wife of the late Elmer Russell Weaver. Born in Chester, PA on November 22, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Julia Anna Monicki Lepak. Mrs. Weaver was a nursing assistant at Willow Brook Nursing Home for 20 years. She is survived by her sons Leon J. Weaver and his wife Ann of Littleton, MA, Stanley F. Weaver and his wife Joan of Newport, RI and Joseph D. Weaver and his wife Sue of Derry, NH, her daughters Jean Mathews and her husband Jon of Middletown, RI and Dorothy A. Weaver of Tiverton, RI, her brothers Alex Lepak of New Jersey and Tony Lepak of Pennsylvania, her sisters Jennie Lucas and Helen Lepak both of Pennsylvania, eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.She was the mother of the late Aloysious Burcz and Elmer Russell Weaver, Jr., and the sister of the late Joseph Lepak, George Lepak, Stanley Lepak, Florey Lepak and Katie Lepak.
