Portsmouth, RI - Stacey L. Ferguson, 43, of 326 Mail Coach Road, Portsmouth, RI, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at the Newport Hospital, Newport, RI.Born in Newport, RI on February 1, 1967, she was the daughter of William P. Sullivan of Jamestown, RI, and Patricia A. Reeve and Ernest Larsen of Middletown, RI.Stacey had worked in the auto parts business as a parts coordinator for several local dealerships including Barry Automotive and Autocenter, as well as RI Parts in East Providence. She most recently had worked at NAPA in Middletown. She was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed horseback riding and playing Bocce with the FOPA League.Besides her parents, she is survived by her companion John Hilario of Portsmouth, his two daughters Ashley and Cassidy Hilario, two step children, Brenda and Clifford Ferguson, a brother Bryan P. Sullivan of Jamestown, step sisters Charlene Auckerman of Tennessee, Shirley A. Echevarria and Michele A. Catalan both of Middletown, her step brothers Jason Silvia of Chicago, IL, and Andrew Silvia of Zanesville, OH. Stacey also leaves two step grandchildren, two aunts Kathleen Connell and Susanne Sullivan, and many cousins.Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at 11:00 am in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Wednesday morning from 9:00-11:00am in the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Robert Potter League for Animals, PO Box 412, Newport, RI, 02840, or to the American Heart Association, 222 Richmond Street, Suite 108, Providence, RI, 02903.
