Stella A. Covel Middletown, RI - Stella A. Harackiewicz Covel, 88, of 892 Mitchells Lane, Middletown, RI, died Thursday, December 13, 2007 at home, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Francis W. Covel. Born in Holyoke, MA on May 19, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Rosalia Pietrowski Harackiewicz.Mrs. Covel enjoyed spending time and being the caretaker of her family. She is survived by her daughter Kathleen R. Legein and her husband James of Middletown, RI, and Teresa J. Covel of Newton, NJ, three grandchildren Shawn Legein, Patrick Legein and Teresa Legein, five great grandchildren Sarah, Jacqueline, Teresa, Kevin and Anna Rose and many nieces and nephews.She was the sister of the late Vincent Harackiewicz and Helen Creamer. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2007, at 8:00 am from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown.
