Stephen F. Ney

Stephen Francis Ney, 44, of 125 Birchwood Estate Drive, Inman, SC, formerly of 790 Green End Avenue, Middletown, RI, died Tuesday, October 3, 2006 in Effingham, IL. Born in Newport, RI on May 13, 1962, he was the son of George and Marie ?Emily? Peters Ney of Middletown, RI.Steve was a 1980 graduate of Middletown High School. He started driving in 1981 for various companies before buying his own truck in 1991 when he moved to South Carolina. He loved to ride the road on his Harley Davidson and was known to ride with a motorcycle club in South Carolina called ?The Wild Bunch?. Steve enjoyed being at home with his daughter and grandchildren when he wasnt working. Besides his parents he is survived by his daughter Shannon Hutchinson of Inman, SC, his brother Thomas Ney and his wife Robin of Middletown, RI, his sister Donna Ney Bonnenfant and her husband Leo of Middletown, RI, and his grandchildren Jeffrey Jr., Jacqueline and Joslynn Hutchinson all of Inman, SC, his nieces Mercedes and Ashley Ney, and Erica Bonnenfant all of Middletown, RI, and his nephews Leo Bonnenfant II of Wilimantic, CT and Jared Bonnenfant of Tiverton, RI. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2006, at 8:00 am from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown. Burial will be in St. Columbas Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2006, from 4-7pm in the funeral home.
