Newport, - Stephen F. Peer, 38, of 100 Warner Street Newport, formerly of 220 Park Holm, Newport, died Friday, October 25, 2002 at Zambarano Memorial Hospital, Burillville, RI. Born in Newport, RI on December 6, 1963, he was the son of the late Gwendolyn Young Peer and Norman D. Peer of Hayward, CA.Mr. Peer was a 1981 Graduate of Rogers High School. He had played Basketball with Kings Boys in the Mens league at the Martin Recreation Department. He is survived by his father Norman D. Peer of Hayward, CA, two daughters Desha M. Peer and Denee S. Peer both of Newport, RI, three brothers Michael N. Peer of Cranston, RI, Anthony E. Peer of Newport, RI, and Timothy A. Peer of Hayward, CA, three sisters Linda White of Newport, RI, Nina J. Peer of Providence, RI, and Karla N. Mitchell of Norfolk, VA. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2002, at 1:00PM, in the Hambly Funeral Home, ?Brick House?, 30 Red Cross Avenue, Newport. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery in Newport.
