Stephen Robert Viveiros

MIDDLETOWN, RI - Stephen Robert Viveiros, 49, of 1550 West Main Road, Middletown, RI, formerly of 9 Newport Avenue, Newport, died Sunday, June 19, 2005, at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence, RI. He was the husband of Kathleen C. Bruno Viveiros to whom he was married for twenty eight years. Born in Newport, RI on May 6, 1956, he was the son of Madeline Geraldine Carrigan Viveiros and the late John Peter Viveiros.Stephen had worked as a maintenance supervisor since 1995 for Patriot Maintenance of Tiverton, RI and Newport, RI, for 10 years. He had also worked as a maintenance supervisor at Northgate Apartments in Middletown, RI, and in Florida. Every summer Steve loved to go fishing with his family and friends at Carrs Point and at Mellvile in Portsmouth. Besides his wife and mother he is survived by a son Stephen R. Viveiros II of Tiverton, RI, a daughter Danielle M. Viveiros of Middletown, RI, six brothers John Viveiros of Olympia, WA, Paul Viveiros of Providence, RI, Richard Viveiros of West Warwick, RI, Peter Viveiros of Newport, RI, Robert Viveiros of Staten Island, NY, and Jacob Viveiros of Newport, RI, six sisters Geraldine Cassese of Westerly, RI, Eileen Viveiros of Portsmouth, RI, Kathleen Viveiros of Newport, RI, Christine Sacco of Portsmouth, RI, Francine Nelson of Middletown, RI, and Maureen Viveiros of Newport, RI, and three granddaughters Chloe K. Viveiros of Middletown, RI, Hannah Viveiros of Tiverton, RI, and Madeline Viveiros of Tiverton, RI.His funeral will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2005, at 11:00AM, in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.Burial will be private.Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2005, from 2-4 and 7-9PM in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
