Steven Michael Proulx

NEWPORT, RI - Steven Michael Proulx, 38, of 51 Bliss Mine Road, Newport, RI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at home. Born in Milford, MA on January 2, 1967, he was the son of the late Ronald Proulx. Steven was self-employed for many years as a carpenter on Aquidneck Island, including positions at D D Fence and the Newport Tennis Hall of Fame. He was a gifted tinkerer, enjoyed fixing things for friends and family, loved antique cars, being at the shore and animals. He is survived by his adopted father Ronald S. Foberg, aunt Beth A. Foberg, and grandmother Lillian S. Foberg, all of Middletown, RI, his fiance Jody Rock of Newport, RI, and beloved family Alyssa Gatta, Tristan Rock and Amber-Lynn Machowski all of Newport, RI and Brandy-Lee Beauvais of North Scituate, RI, his siblings Jeromy of Middletown, RI, and Scott and Susan of Warwick, RI, and his beloved dog Athena. Calling hours will be held on July 18, 2005, from 6-9 pm in the Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
