Steven Patrick Barlow

Steven Patrick Barlow, 42, of Newport, RI, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, as the result of a motor vehicle accident.Born in Newport, RI on May 10, 1967, he was the son of Sylvia Johnson Barlow of Newport and the late Howard L. Barlow, Sr. Steven worked locally as a painter and was an avid musician. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Brittany Barlow of Florida and Emma Rose Barlow of Portsmouth, RI; his girlfriend, Stephanie Damaskos; four brothers, Howard L. Barlow, Jr. of Bristol, RI, Jeffrey M. Barlow of Croton on Hudson, NY, Kenneth J. Barlow of Natick, MA and Kevin W. Barlow of Bath, NY; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews and nieces.His funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 11 am in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI.Burial will follow in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 9 - 11 am in the funeral home prior to the service.
