MIDDLETOWN, RI - Susan J. SilvaGower, 58, of 38B Paquin Place, Middletown, RI formerly of Fall River and Assonet, MA, died Sunday, October 30, 2005, at home. She was the wife of Daniel A. Gower, Sr.Born in Fall River, MA, on March 28, 1947, she was the daughter of Anibal A. and Evelyn Cadima Silva, of Somerset, MA.Mrs. Gower was a secretary for Hague Sahady Accounting in Fall River, MA. She was a member of the VFW Post 4487 Ladies Auxillary of Middletown, RI.Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by her Jason Mello of Fall River, MA, her stepson, D.J. Gower of Middletown, RI, her daughter, Jocelyn Mello of Rockville, MD, her stepdaughters, Jill Viveiros of Middletown, RI, and Sharon Gower of Northbridge, MA, her sister, Karen Raposa of Somerset, MA, her granddaughter, Kayla Viveiros of Middletown, RI, two nieces and two great nephews. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2004, at 8AM from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI, Followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9AM in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown. Burial will be in St. Columbas Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2005, from 4-8pm in the Memorial Funeral Home.
