Middletown, RI - Susan Marie Kellner Gubata, 47, of 147 Center Avenue, Middletown, RI, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. Born in San Diego, CA on April 10, 1963, she was the daughter of the late John Robert and Janet Ward Kellner.Susan was a member of St. Lucys Church. She was a loving mother, loved swimming and her dogs, Keely and Maya. She is survived by her son Michael James Gubata of Middletown, RI, her brother Steve Kellner of New Jersey, her sisters Kathy Couling of Ohio and Marianne Kellner Daley of Maryland, and many nieces and nephewsCalling hours will be held on Friday, April 1, 2011, from 5-8pm, in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI.Her funeral will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2011, at 9:00am, from the Memorial Funeral Home, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am, in St. Lucys Church, West Main Road, Middletown.Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park, Vaucluse Avenue, Middletown, RI.In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Robert Potter League, PO Box 412, Newport, RI 02840.
