Susan Maureen Stevens, 55, of Newport, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014, at Rhode Island Hospital.Born on May 4, 1959, in Sharon, MA, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Margaret (Rivers) Stevens.Susan worked in food service industry at Belcourt Castle, Courtyard Marriot as a server as well as the Abby in Portsmouth and was last employed by Salve Regina. Susan was such a happy, loving, caring person who's favorite things in life were spending time with her children and grandchildren. Susan was a member of the Sportsman Social Club in Newport. She brought joy laughter and love everywhere she would go. She had a special gift to brighten up the darkest days of all she loved.
