Terrence W. Lidstone

Portsmouth, RI - Terrence W. Lidstone, 34, of Portsmouth, died Saturday, January 1, 2005 at home. Born in Newport, RI on September 26, 1970, he was the son of Norman W. and Patricia A. Rolando Lidstone of Portsmouth, RI. Terry was a 1988 graduate of Portsmouth High School, and a graduate of New England Tech where he studied Marine Technology. He worked at Hinckley Yachts in Portsmouth as a marine mechanic. Terry enjoyed skiing and snowbording in Vermont and salt water fishing. Besides his parents he is survived by his paternal grandmother Fanny A. Lidstone of Warwick, RI, his sister Karyn Lidstone of Portsmouth, RI, two nieces and one nephew Candice, Leah and Jacob Hibbad all of Portsmouth, RI and his girlfriend Jane Tavares of Bristol, RI. His funeral will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2005, at 9:00 AM from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM in St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth.
