Portsmouth, RI, - Terry Lynn "Sam" (Damms) Chiodo, 46, of Portsmouth died Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital of Providence, RI. Born April 27, 1966 in Ellenville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Patricia A. Porter and surviving father Richard Damms. Terry was a very spiritual person, and loved attending CrossPoint Church in Newport. She was a very hard worker who enjoyed her customers at Subway, but nothing meant more to her then her grandchildren. She was a very family orientated person who put family first because they were her world. Terry was a very giving and forgiving person who touched a lot of people. She is survived by her children, Corey Chiodo of Newport, RI, and Tricia Horvath of Middletown, RI, her loving nephew Shawn Hernandez Sr. of Spring Valley, NY, her sisters Sherry Parks of Katy, TX, and Mary Renee Stewart of Spring Valley, NY, and the apples of her eyes, William C. Ziegler IV, Corey L. Chiodo, Jr. Noah Gould and Elijah Chiodo.Calling hours will be held on, Sunday, March 3, 2013, from 2:30 - 4:30 in CrossPoint Church, 14 Rhode Island Avenue, Newport, RI, with a service to follow at 4:30.Her burial will be private.
