Thelma D. Grenon

Newport, RI - Thelma D. Duffee Grenon, 90, of 66 Girard Avenue, Newport, RI, formerly of Channing Street, died Sunday, June 10, 2007 at John Clarke Health Care Center, Middletown, RI. She was the wife of the late Joseph D. Grenon. Born in Jamestown, RI on May 5, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Sumner and Bertha Pickering Duffee.Mrs. Grenon retired from the Edward King House as the program director. She also worked in a real estate officer over her career as well as being a devoted wife and mother. Mrs. Grenon was involved in the local girl scouts and was a member of the Mosaic Club. She is survived by her son John Grenon and his wife Margarite of Quinson, France, her daughter Gay Hart of Newport, RI, her grandchildren Angela Russo of Norfolk, VA, John Garcia of Newport, RI, and Nicholi and Victoria Grenon of Quinson, France and two great grandchildren.
