Middletown, - Theresa Marie Vieira Dresser, 64, of 70 Bayview Park Middletown, formerly of 2 Apthorp Avenue, Newport, died Friday, November 15, 2002 at home.She was the wife of the late Charles Wayne Dresser. Born in Newport, RI on June 15, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Garcia Vieira.Mrs. Dresser had worked as an accounting technician at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport, for 15 years. She was a Communicant of Jesus Saviour Church. She is survived by two sons David W. Dresser of Middletown, RI, and Charles K. Dresser of New York City, NY, two daughters Laurie Tyree of Holiday, FL, and Donna Sidoti of Port Richey, FL, three brothers Joseph Vieira and Anthony Vieira both of Middletown, RI, and Jesse Vieira of Portsmouth, RI, two sisters Barbara Ames and Helen Prescott both of Middletown, RI, and five grandchildren.She was the sister of the late Manuel Vieira, Mary Lynch and Hortance Silveria.Her funeral will be held on Monday, November 18, 2002, at 8:00AM, from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00AM, in Jesus Saviour Church, Broadway and Vernon Avenue, Newport. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown.
