Thomas J. "Tucker" Kesson

Thomas J. Kesson, 63, of Bristol, RI, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at home.Born in Waterbury, CT on December 19, 1950, he is the son of the late Charles E. and Ann (Butler) Kesson.Tucker was a Highway Maintenance Supervisor with the Rhode Island Department of Transportation for 35 years before retiring. He was an avid golfer and soccer fan. Tucker worked as a starter at Swansea Country Club and was vice president of his golf league. He enjoyed reading, cooking and gardening.He is survived by his children, Amie Kesson of Providence, RI and Thomas J. Kesson, Jr. of Bristol, RI; his siblings, Charles Kesson of Newport, RI, Paul Kesson of Portsmouth, RI and Mary Ann Kesson of Bristol, RI; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Richard Kesson.A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
