Thomas Ouellette

Thomas Ouellette, a resident of the Screamer Community, near Abbeville, Alabama, passed away Tuesday night, November 12, 2024, at his home. He was 95.

Mr. Ouellette was born in Newport, RI to the late Earnest Ouellette and Marie Turgeon Ouellette. He graduated from Rogers High School in Newport, RI. He served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves. His career was a pharmaceutical assistant. He was a active member of the Knights of Columba. He was of the Catholic faith.

Along with his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Jeanne H. Ouellette; and his children, Patricia Ouellette, Catherine Ouellette, and Robert Ouellette.

Leaving to cherish his memories are his daughter, Sheryl Chiles (Gregory); his brothers, Arthur Ouellette and Bernard Ouellette; his grandchildren, Crystal George (Relias), Kristin Troutman (Broc), Christine Comer, and Katrina Koppenhaver; and his great-grandchildren, Katrina, Xavier, Hunter, Hogan, Hudson, Audrina, Ashton, Madelyn, and Ethan.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 10:00am at St. Lucy's church, 909 West Main Rd., Middletown, RI. Burial will follow at St. Columba Catholic Cemetery, 465 Brown's Ln., Middletown.
