Thomas P. Farrea

NEWPORT, RI - Thomas P. Farrea, 81 of 663 East Road, Tiverton, RI, formerly of Jepson Lane Middletown, RI, died Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at Newport Hospital. Born in Middletown, RI on February 1, 1924 he was the son of the late Manuel and Anna Moitoza Farrea. Mr. Farrea was a farmer who owned a dairy farm on Jepson Lane for most of his life. Most recently he had a smaller farm in Tiverton. Mr. Farrea also worked for the Local Laborers Union 673 in Middletown for twenty-five years. He is survived by his sons Thomas Farrea of Portsmouth, RI, Gary Farrea of Riverside, RI, and Keith Farrea of Portsmouth, RI, his sister Gertrude Correira of Middletown, RI, and five grandchildren Andrew, James, Sydney, Stephen, and Kerry Farrea. He is preceded in death by his siblings George Farrea, Philomena ?Fanny? Neely, Manuel Perry and John Farrea, Elizabeth Viera, Mary Matos, Marianna Norbury, Irene ONeil, Roslind Kalwak, Laura DeRensis, Delphine Carr and Anna Gomes. His funeral will be held on Saturday October 15, 2005 at 11:00AM in The Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI. Burial will be in St. Columbas Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Saturday morning October 15, 2005 from 9-11:00am in the Connors Funeral Home.
