Timothy Peter Reinmuth

Portsmouth, RI - Timothy Peter Reinmuth, 52, of Portsmouth, RI, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. He was the husband of Joan JP Reinmuth and father of Chris ReinmuthBorn in Mineola, NY on July 1, 1958; he was the son of Edward G and Dorothy Larsen Reinmuth.He was a 1976 graduate of Patchogue-Medford High School, Patchogue New York. Following his graduation, Tim enlisted in the United States Navy where he served until 1983. After his marriage on February 14, 1981 he and JP moved to Newport, RI where Tim worked for Raytheon .In 1987 they purchased a home in Portsmouth, Tim had been employed by ITT Corp. for the last 18 years.Tim was president of the AIM Golf League .He loved fishing, playing his guitar and music. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother and will be missed by all who knew him.He is survived by wife JP and son Chris Reinmuth of Portsmouth, RI, his brother Jon Reinmuth of Richmond, VA, his sister Nancy Diamond of Rotterdam, NY and his parents Edward and Dorothy Reinmuth of Medford NY. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.Calling hours will be held Tuesday, April 5 from 5-7 in the Connors Funeral Home, with a Memorial service following the calling hours. Burial will be private
