Middletown, RI - Tom Kroger, 58, of 215 Honeyman Avenue, Middletown, RI, died Monday, June 21, 2010 at home surrounded by his family.He was the loving husband of Kathleen Berube Kroger for 32 years. Born in Fall River, MA on March 17, 1952, he was the son of the late Dr. Louis Eugene and Frances Connelly Kroger.Mr. Kroger was a master plumber after 20 years as an offshore lobsterman out of Newport, RI. He loved the water and was an avid golfer. Mr. Kroger was a great father and husband. He is survived by his wife and sons Michael Kroger of Newport, RI, and James Kroger of Middletown, RI, his brothers Robert Kroger and his wife Anne of New Hampshire, and John Kroger and his wife Dorothy of Taunton, MA, his sisters Ann Kroger of Portsmouth, RI, Elynn Kroger of Gloucester, MA, and Mary Elizabeth Ganssle and her husband Jack of Baltimore, MD and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, from 4-8 in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI. His funeral will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2010, at 11am in the Connors Funeral HomeBurial will be in Trinity Cemetery, East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.
