Troy Matthew Henderson, 41, of Providence, RI died Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital. Mr. Henderson was born July 7, 1973 in Newport, RI, the son of Pauline (Ekstrom) Henderson and the late Robert E. Henderson. Troy enjoyed life's simple pleasures. He loved his family, most of all his children. He enjoyed going to Canobie Lake, fishing, and working on boats. He worked for many years as a fiberglass boat builder.Besides his mother, he is survived by his children Chandler and Alexis DaCruz, his siblings Pauline Pelletier and her husband Wayne Oliveira, Robert Henderson and his wife Sandra, Charles Henderson, John Henderson and his partner Nancy Petrillo, David Henderson and his partner Lee Johns, and Elizabeth Ford and her husband Chris, and many nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, May 28, 2015, from 3-7pm in the Memorial Funeral Home 375 Broadway Newport, RI 02840.
