Cinotti, 72, of 18 DeArruda Terrace Portsmouth, died Friday, July 30, 2004 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI.He was the husband of the late Dolores P. Cordeiro Cinotti. Born in Newport, RI on Nov. 28, 1931, he was the son of the late Victor and Eloise Cox Cinotti. Mr. Cinotti worked as a sales representative for the former Jack and Harry?s and the Firestone Co. both in Newport and then WADK. He owned and operated the Blue Checker Diner in Portsmouth.He then became a sales representative for the Newport Daily News and then the Phoenix Times.Mr. Cinotti volunteered for various organizations. He was an umpire for the Portsmouth Little League. He was active in the Boy Scouts both local and in Rhode Island. He was a charter member and past president of the Kiwaniss, a past president of the Portsmouth High School Boosters Club and honorary member of the Portuguese American Club. For the Past 18 years he was a credit manager for the Peoples Credit Union and for the past 8 years he served on their board of directors. Besides his wife of 51 years he leaves 2 Sons Michael J. Cinotti of Ft. Worth, TX, Thomas E. Cinotti of Bristol, RI, a Daughter Dianna Baldaro of Portsmouth, RI, a Brother Robert E. Cinotti of Middletown, RI7 Grandchildren 3 Great Grandchildren He was brother of the late Marie Eloise DawleyHis funeral will be held Monday August 2, 2004, at 9:00AM from the Connors Funeral Home 55 West Main Road Portsmouth with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00AM in St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association New England Affiliate 20 Speen Street Framingham, MA 01701-2012.
