Middletown, - Violet ?Vickie? Boyajian Garabedian, 74, of 10 Wood Terrace Middletown, died Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at home.She was the wife of Harry Garabedian of Middletown. Born in Burlington, VT on September 28, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Kazar Boyajian and the late Loussik Tutunjian Boyajian.Mrs. Garabedian was in the United States Air Force reserves from 1947 to 1949. She was a member of the ?Island Ladies? Bowling, the ?Good Friends Bingo Club? and Sts. Vartanantz on Broadway in Providence, RI. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels and also at the James L. Maher Center. Mrs. Garabedian was an avid reader and enjoyed doing ceramics. Besides her husband of 53 years she is survived by three sons Gary M. Garabedian of Barrington, RI, Jack K. Garabedian of Portsmouth, VA, and George S. Garabedian of Middletown, RI, two daughters Annie M. Pacheco of Somerset, MA, and Victoria ?Tori? M. Byrd of Middletown, RI, two brothers Michael Minasian of Tarrytown, NY, and Armen K. Boyajian of Ardsley, NY, five grandchildren Melanie A. Creador and John G. Pacheco both of Somerset, MA, Kevin M. Garabedian, Kyle A. Byrd and Alexis V. Byrd all of Middletown, RI, two great grandsons Joseph Creador and Brian Creador both of Somerset, MA, and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held on Monday, March 31, 2003, at 11:00 AM in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.
