Virginia Gramolini

Newport, RI - Virginia Pierini Gramolini, 95, of Harrison Avenue, Newport, formerly of Mumford Manor, died Thursday, September 16, 2004 at Village House Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late Albert T. Gramolini. Born in Fano, Italy, on April 2, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Abramo and Ricketta Ferri Pierini. Mrs. Gramolini was born in Italy. After moving to the United States she made her home in Newport and Middletown. Mrs. Gramolini retired from General Electric Monowatt Plant where she worked as an assembler. She was a communicant of St. Josephs Church. She is survived by her son Albert Gramolini of Daytona, FL, her daughter Margaret Silvia of Middletown, RI, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.Her funeral will be held on Monday, September 20, 2004, at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian burial in St. Josephs Church, Broadway And Mann Avenue, Newport. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown. Donations in her memory may be made to the Newport Rescue Wagon Fund, 21 W. Marlborough Street, Newport, RI 02840.
