Peters Craveiro, 92, of 158 Prospect Avenue, Middletown, RI, died Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late Manuel Craveiro Born in Middletown, RI on February 24, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Mary Moniz Peters.Virginia was a domestic and a homemaker. She was a member of Jesus Saviour Rosary Sodality. She is survived by her sister Evelyn M. Peters of Middletown, RI and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.She was the sister of the late Christian J. Peters, Manuel R. Peters, Sr., Jesse J. Peters, Jr. Anna E. Souza, Mary G. Medeiros and Mary Stella Peters.Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010, from 8-9:30am, in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.Her funeral will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010, at 9:00am from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Jesus Saviour Church, Broadway and Vernon Avenue, Newport.Burial will be in St. Columbas Cemetery in Middletown.
