Viviane L. Mendoza

Bristol, RI - Viviane L. Jones Mendoza, 86, of Silver Creek Manor, Bristol, RI, died Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at Silver Creek Manor, Bristol, RI. She was the wife of the late Joseph Mendoza. She was born in Ladysmith, Wisconsin on December 21, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Harry O. and Viva Myers Jones.Mrs. Mendoza worked as a seamstress in the Fall River Mills. She was a filing clerk in the blueprint room at Raytheon for 14 years, retiring in 1987. Viviane was a brownie leader in Portsmouth and was active in the Portsmouth PTA. She leaves her daughter Mary Lee Rebello and her husband Steven of Portsmouth, and several nieces and nephews.She was the sister of the late Evelyn Zahrt. Her funeral will be held on Friday, August 24, 2007, at 9:00 am from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in St. Columbas Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2007, from 6-8 in the funeral home.
