Born in Newport, RI on January 12, 1951, he was the son of May Howard Albro of Portsmouth, RI, and the late George H. Albro, Sr.Mr. Albro worked for the former Almacs on Bellevue Avenue from 1969 till 1992 and also at Aquidneck Liquor in Middletown for 34 years. Besides his wife of 12 years, he was the devoted father of Timothy Albro and Allison Albro of Portsmouth, RI, Renae Medeiros Krones of Newport, RI and Holly Medeiros of Middletown, RI, devoted grandfather of nine grandchildren and his siblings David Albro, Bruce Albro, Laurie Albro Cummings, and Carol Linville all of Pickens, SC, George Albro of Comfort, TX, and May Talyor of Wells, ME.Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2010, from 5-7pm in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2010, at 11:00, in Newport Memorial Park, Vaucluse Avenue, Middletown.Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.
