Wayne N. Barretto

Wayne N. Barretto, 32, of 408 Park Ave Portsmouth, died unexpectedly Monday, February 18, 2002 at Newport Hospital in Newport, RI. He was the son of Mary Correira Barretto, of Portsmouth and the late Joseph Barretto, Sr. For the last 15 years, Mr. Barretto worked as a carpenter with his brother at Custom Building in Portsmouth, doing home renovations and building. He also owned WB Landscaping in Portsmouth, doing home landscaping and snowplowing. Mr. Barretto was a member of the Tiverton Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed watersports, especially jetskiing. He also enjoyed country-western dancing. He is survived by his mother Mary Barretto, a son Ean Barretto, and a brother Joseph Barretto, Jr. all of Portsmouth, RI, two sisters Pauline Hayes of Swansea, MA, and Geraldine Barretto of Plymouth, MA, and several nieces and nephews.
