William Asher Pritchard Sr

Bristol, - William Asher Pritchard, Sr., 81, of E-5 Bristol Woods Drive Bristol, formerly of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, died Sunday, July 6, 2003 at Rhode Island Hospital Providence, RI.He was the husband of Pauline Hattauer Pritchard. Born in East Orange, NJ on February 21, 1922, he was the son of the late Gerald A. and Magda Schleuter Pritchard. Mr. Pritchard worked at Raytheon as a pruchasing manager from 1959 to 1974, then worked at Textron as a manager from 1974 to 1982 retiring to Chatam, MA before moving to Bristol, RI. He was a founding member of the Portsmouth High School Boosters Club. Besides his wife of 55 years he is survived by three sons William A. Pritchard Jr. of Milwaukee, WI, Gary K. Pritchard of Barrington, RI, and Paul E. Pritchard of Portsmouth, RI.Funeral services and burial will be private.
