Portsmouth, RI - William Dayley Nattress, 60, of 45 Johnnycake Lane, Portsmouth, RI, died Wednesday, August 5, 2009.He was the husband of Belinda Kae Molstad Nattress. Born in Pocatello, Idaho on March 1, 1949, he was the son of the late William John and Marjorie Dayley Nattress.Dayle graduated from the University of Utah with a Doctorate in Economics. Mr. Nattresss academic career at Bryant University included being the Dean of the Graduate School, head of the EDC and currently a professor in the Finance Department. His Wall Street Career included being the Chief Financial Officer for Ambac Financial Inc., Senior Vice President at Dean Witter, Prudential, Citicorp, and Citibank. He started his economic career at Chase Manhattan Bank. He also had the opportunity to work at the U.S. Treasury during the Reagan Administration. He recently completed his work for a Certified Valuation Analyst.Dayle is best known for his passion for offshore and fly fishing and recently earned his Captains license. Besides his wife of 29 years, he is survived by his son William John Nattress, II of Portsmouth, RI, his sister Danice Jolley of Provo, UT, ten nieces and nephews and eight great nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held on Monday, August 10, 2009, at 10:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, 177 Miantonomi Avenue, Middletown.Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery in Portsmouth.Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2009, from 6-8 in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.
