William G. Del Nero, Jr

Providence, RI - William G. Del Nero, Jr., 71, of Dodge Street Bannister House Nursing Home, Providence, RI, formerly of Newport, Rhode Island, died Sunday, January 13, 2008 at Dodge Street Bannister House Nursing Home, Providence, RI. Born in Newport, RI on July 8, 1936, he was the son of the late William G. and Marion Preece Del Nero.Mr. Del Nero served in the United States Army.. He worked at Bill Del Nero's Cleaners, the family business for 12 years. He was a communicant of St. Josephs Church. Bill enjoyed remote control helicopters and planes and loved model railroading. He is survived by his son Philip Del Nero of Norman, OK, his sisters Delores F. Del Nero of Newport, RI, and Dorothy H. Benisch of Newport, RI and North Palm Beach, FL, and his grandchild Kyle Del Nero of Norman, OK and many nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held on Friday, January 18, 2008, at 12:00pm, in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.Calling hours are omitted.
