William Jennings

William H. Jennings, 64, of Middletown and formerly of Tiverton, RI, died on February 21, 2025. Born in Newport, RI on May 25, 1960, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Burgess) Jennings. Billy graduated from Rogers High School and enjoyed a lifetime of adventure. He explored several opportunities as a young man until he found a position at Raytheon which he enjoyed for many years. After that, he tried out several new paths, including lobsterman, a painting business, and working in several area hotels. He also worked as the Sexton at St.Paul's UMC Church in Newport. Billy enjoyed cooking, camping, trips to Cape Cod and New Hampshire, caring for his pets and a good Stevie Ray Vaughan guitar solo.

William is survived by his siblings; John Jennings, Jr. of Tiverton, Patricia Jennings of Middletown, and Amy Ciccone of Washington, DC, and his longtime companion Jill Glazier of Tiverton.
