William Lee Mckechnie

Middletown, - William Lee McKechnie, 68, of 510 Forest Park, Middletown, died Saturday, June 26, 2004 at St. Anne?s Hospital, Fall River, MA. Born in Beverly, MA on Jan. 26, 1936, he was the son of the late William McKechnie and the late Edna Chipman McKechnie. A Korean War veteran of the US Navy, Mr. McKechnie was a computer specialist at the Naval Underwater Systems Center now known as NUWC before retiring in 2001. He is survived by three daughters, Michele McKechnie of Merrimac, NH, Marianne Dobbins of Rio Rancho, NM, and Kristine McKechnie of Fall River, MA; one son Michael McKechnie of Middletown, RI, and Three Grandchildren. A committal service followed by military honors will take place Thursday, July 1, at 1:00pm at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.
