William Sequeira

NEWPORT, RI - William Sequeira, 89 of 5 Tews Court, Newport, RI died Saturday, August 27, 2005at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. He was the husband of the late Beatrice Lillian Sequeira. Born in Tiverton, R.I. on May 3, 1916, he was the son of the late Joseph and Amy Albert Sequeira. Mr. Sequeira had worked as a Landscape Gardener for Lloyd Lawton for over twenty-nine years retiring in 1978.He enjoyed Hunting, Quahoging and playing cards. Mr. Sequeira was a World War II Army Veteran. He is survived by two daughters Sharon Sequeira of Lompoc, CA, Freida Thompson of Tucson, Arizona, one stepdaughter Janelle Thompson of Compton, CA, two sisters June Sequeira of Florida, and Mary Sequeira formerly of Fall River, MA, one grandson Jason Thompson of Chandler, AZ, one greatgrandson Jaden Thompson of Chandler, Arizona. Two nephews, Leo Sequeira of Middletown, RI and Victor Moreno His funeral will be held Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005 at 11:00 am in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be in Braman Cemetery in Newport.
