William Woodson

William Woodson, 87, of Bellevue Ave, Newport, RI, died Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Heatherwood Nursing And Subacute Center, Newport, RI. Born in Newport, RI on September 14, 1921, he was the son of the late William and Leona Myers Woodson.He is survived by his sister Helen Cofield of Newport, RI and several nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by a brother Wallace Woodson, and two sisters, Corinne Woodson, Muriel Blackwell.His funeral will be held on Thursday, March 26, at 11:00 am in Community Baptist Church, 50 Dr. Marcus Wheatland Boulevard, Newport. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.Calling hours will be held Thursday, March 26 from 10:00am-11:00am in the church.
