Yulata L. Victores

Yulata L. "Lottie" Victores, 61, of Park Holm, Newport, RI, died on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Newport Hospital. She was the wife of Andre Victores of Newport.Born in Newport, RI on July 5, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Sally (Greene) Young.Mrs. Victores worked for 20 years as a housekeeper at Heatherwood Nursing Home in Newport. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Newport. She enjoyed gardening and cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. Lottie easily shared her love with friends and family.In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Johnny Groomes of Virginia and Kia Young of Georgia; her brothers, Albert, Nathaniel and Wayne Barnes; her sisters, Inez Brown and Karen Harris; and eight grandchildren.Her funeral will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at 3:00 pm in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 36 Hillside Avenue, Newport, RI.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 36 Hillside Avenue, Newport, RI 02840.
