Yvonne Scott

Newport, RI - Yvonne Diane Brogden Scott, born November 26, 1931 at Newport Hospital died peacefully on June 1, 2014 at Grand Islander Nursing Home, Middletown, RI. She was the wife of the late Theodore Scott of Grand Rapids Michigan and the beloved daughter of the late Leroy Brogden and Norma Smith Brogden of Newport. She is survived by her five daughters, Rosalind Green and her husband James Green, Robin Robinson and Merrie Scott all of Newport, Norma Scott and her husband Mohamed Ahmed of Newton, MA and Angela Scott of Middletown RI, nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren her sister-in-law Setsyko Brogden and her daughter Maiya Richard of NVand many cousins in the Providence area.She was the sister of the late Ronald L. Brogden.She will be missed by her family and friends.All services are private.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Salvation Army, Memorial Boulevard, Newport, RI 02840.
