David & I always looked forward to talking w/John after 8am Mass Sunday. He set our mood for the day. Having recently lost David I share in your sorrow, but each day I smile whenever I think of him and sadness eludes me. I wish the very same for you.

So sorry for your lost...May he Rest In Peace...

Deacon Francis Valliere November 21, 2022

It was a privilege to be a deacon classmate of John's! A kind and gentle man who personified what it was to be a Deacon. May the Angels lead you into paradise; may the martyrs greet you at your arrival and lead you into the holy city, Jerusalem. May the choir of Angels welcome you and like Lazarus, who once was a poor man, may you have eternal rest. Your brother in Christ, Deacon Francis Valliere

I'm so sorry to hear about Uncle John's passing. I loved him very, very much! He was always so kind to me and was full of warmth and love. It makes me happy to know he's now reunited with my Dad and their sister, Judy! Sending love to Marianna, Maddy, Cathy, Ted, John and Reg. I love you all so much and I wish I could be with you during this difficult time.

My dad used to say that you can tell a lot about a man by the people around him. I’d say it’s obvious that my Uncle John was a man of high character who was curious, smart, practical, generous and loving. He’s the last of a generation of Croys and he will be missed.
